Sometimes when I have a huge to do list, I simply won't accomplish anything. Heaven forbid I get overwhelmed. Yeah, that's me right now. I add to my list every day but don't cross anything off. Seriously, I struggle. One thing I have been doing, looking up facts about Grenada. Some things I've learned:
The average temperature year around is in the 80's.
The average humidity year around is 80%
St. George has a beach that is rated one of the top ten most beautiful beaches in the world.
It's 100 miles from Venezuela
Even during the rainy season (June to December) it rarely rains for more than an hour and not everyday
The primary language is English
They drive on the left side of the road
Cricket is the most popular sport
It's 133 square miles
It's nicknamed the "spice island" because of it's production on Nutmeg and Mace

Big things happening for the Borens

1st- We are going to be moving here.

St. George, Grenada
Where is this you ask? If you are looking at all the Caribbean islands, it's the second most southern one.Oh darn I have to go live on a tropical island for 2 years. Life will be tough:)


2nd- This one was more shocking than the 1st believe or not. Baby number 3 will be here in the middle of October. I still can't really believe it. This is a long story in itself. Maybe one day I will do a post about it.

Life is going to be crazy the next couple months. CRAZY! Aaron is going to leave in Aug. The boys, new baby and I will follow in December. I don't really want to have my baby in Grenada. Especially because I have c-sections. Anyways, that's life right now. I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous at all. I'm nervous to be a single mom for 5 months. I'm nervous because I really do love my man and the thought of 5 months without him makes me sad. I'm nervous to move somewhere so far and not know a single person. Even with all that I really am excited! I like doing new things and getting out of my comfort zone and moving to Grenada will do that. We would love visitors:)

Last day of Spring Break

Calico Ghost Town
On our last day of our 6 day trip in Cali we stopped in Calico Ghost Town. I had never even heard of it. Aaron's sister suggested we all go. I was hesitant only because I was ready to get home and I didn't want a huge detour but come to find out it's right off the 15 by Barstow. You can actually see if from the freeway. I've made the drive to Cali loads of times and never even notice. Shows how observant I am. Well, we spent about 3 hours there in 90 degree weather and had a lot of fun. It was a good way to end vacation. For all you Vegas folks, it's similar to Bonnie Springs but it's an actual legit ghost town.

We walked through and old mine shaft. Way cool.

Saw some extremely old houses.

Went on a train ride with cousins

Sifted (not sure that's the exact term, whatever) for gold

 and our attempt at a family picture. This is only one we got all trip!

Ezra's time

Ezra didn't have school on Tuesday and Lincoln did. So, I asked Ezra what he wanted to do. He came up with driving on the strip, taking pictures at the welcome to Las Vegas sign, eat at long john silver (awful) and have a root beer float. I love him and was happy to have a couple hours together.

Color Run

Color Run = family friendly, great people watching, good exercise, dirty, crazy, awesome fun! A special thanks to my amazing sister in law and her family. 

After we got home from the race. Ezra wanted to know when the next color run was so that we could do it. I informed him it was in San Francisco so we needed to wait until next year when it comes back to Vegas and he said "Let's just go to San Francisco and do it there!" Needless to say he loved it!

Ezra

I wanted to document this before I forgot. I'm sure Ezra will appreciate this when he is older and HOPEFULLY out of this stage:)

Ezra is one of the sorest losers I have ever known. Poor kid gets so upset, angry, cries and bitter if he doesn't win any kind of game. We played uno last night for FHE. We played 3 rounds and he didn't win the first 2 but was okay because he had a chance to win the 3rd but when he didn't the kid broke down. HA! Not that I think it's funny he lost. I actually felt really bad for him. I think it's funny because I'm really competitive, actually my whole family is, and we all used to have "melt downs" when we didn't win. And some of us may still have them;) So, I see me in him. Ezra, I'm sorry you're like your mama. Love ya:)

Red Rock

The day after Christmas we went up to Red Rock to enjoy the beautiful scenery and to do a little hiking. Eric, Whitney and my mom joined us. So fun but really cold. I think Ezra could have spent all day there.
