Spring Mountain Ranch: BEAUTIFUL views of the mountains, big grassy area to play, little hiking trails to explore, horses, white picket fence, fun house with lots of history and amazing weather.

I am a gimp

Stylish, right?. A couple months back my foot started hurting and it kept getting worse and worse. So, I finally decided I needed to go to the doc. I have a stress fracture. He thinks it's from running. Awesome.

Aw... the outdoors

I love being outside! I have to get some outdoor time everyday or I go crazy. So, when Aaron has a few free hours I want to go hiking. How can we not when the weather has been perfect. I love that Ezra is now old enough to enjoy hiking. We hiked a couple miles last Friday at Red Rock and he did so good. We also stopped by the new visitors center and spent a while there. Pretty neat.

New family members

Lightening Mcqueen or just Mcqueen

and KingAaron built the cage. Not to shabby.Lincoln is going to terrorize these poor bunnies. He loves them but does not know how to be soft.I will admit that I am not an animal person. I can care less to ever own any kind of animal. Sounds harsh, I know. But, my husband and children feel differently. Ezra's preschool teacher was giving away bunnies so, naturally, Ezra begged us for one. Then once Aaron made the cage and realized that it was huge, we got two. Ezra is in charge of the bunnies and it is so neat to watch him take care them:) We let the bunnies roam the backyard while we are back there. The other day when we went to put them back in their cage we couldn't find Mcqueen and night came and we still couldn't find him. So, I thought for sure he got out. Can you believe that night I was worried about that dang bunny! The next morning Aaron found him. Yay! Apparently I am a sucker for cute little bunnies.

March read

Actually, it took a little longer than March to read. I had high expectations for this book and maybe that's why I was a little disappointed. It's a big book about 800 pages. It took me like 15 chapters to get into it. One good thing, I did learn a ton. This book is about the "Hole in the Rock" pioneers. To be honest the only thing I knew about the these pioneers was that I can go see hole in the rock at Lake Powell. You can actually hike it and it is quite amazing to think wagons went down that . I really wanted to love this book but I just didn't. I wouldn't say it was bad but I wouldn't say it was great. Just okay.

blah blah blah

When I'm overwhelmed I shut down and don't do anything. Then I get myself into a funk. My house gets nasty and I look at it and want to clean but my body is in shut down mode, so I don't. Right now as I type this I have loads of laundry that need to be done. My bathroom is just nasty. The boys room has so much crap on the floor. So instead of picking it up, I made a pathway. Don't judge me. Don't get me started on my room. Yeah, I disgust myself. Then at the end of the day I think of all the things I could have done and realize what a waste of a day that was. Needless to say I have been overwhelmed and so here I am. Why oh why do I do this. Okay, there it is folks. I'm not perfect. HA like anyone thought that anyways but really this is one thing I need to kick in the butt. Yuck... sorry this was a total Debby Downer post.

Going back to Cali, Cali, Cali

Oh how I LOVE to camp on the beach :) It really doesn't get much better than that. It was a little chilly both nights but other than that, the weather was beautiful! It was nice to have most of Aaron's family join us. Fun was had my friends.

Aaron's sister, Corinna, put together an Easter egg hunt. Pretty sure the kids were in Heaven.All the cousins except Luke oh and two uncles in there

Before heading home, we had to stop at the beach one more time. Aaron taking Ezra out to get in on the actionwipe outgood times!!!

Ezra's two favorite people are...

... his uncle Eric and aunt Whitney. So, he was excited to find out they were coming to town. Whitney was celebrating her birthday and so they came down and hung out for a few days. We love having them here. We always have a good time and do fun things. My pictures turned out really crappy so this is what I have.
