Here's a day in the life for ya...

I hate this dog... don't judge me. If you lived in the same house as him, you would too.

He is old. He uses the house like it's his bathroom. He growls at the kids if they come near him. He is deaf so he barks all the time. I think because he can maybe hear himself. I don't know. The problem is, he is old! So,   the saying is true, you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Oh and side note: Grandpa threw a meatball at him (not in a mean way) and now there is a perfect round red   spot on his butt where the meatball hit him. Awesome.

a sweet moment

Tonight this little child of mine cuddled up next to me while I read to him and fell asleep. I laid there for a while having a "moment" of pure love. It was beautiful.

July 4th festivities

The morning of July 4th we were supposed to go to the lake with some family friends but decided to stay home. My grandparents weren't doing very well and the weather was crazy (overcast, windy, rainy) so home  we stayed. We slept in, played board games and relaxed until after lunch then headed out for Logandale.
 There we, played at a splash pad in Moapa, hung out at Aaron's parents and enjoyed the company. 

Then at 8:30 we headed to the fair grounds and watched the firework show. It was a great Independence day! I love this wonderful country we live in and I am proud to be an American! 

Side note: The loud noise doesn't affect Ezra anymore but Lincoln is not there yet

learning to ride

A little over a month ago Lincoln wanted to learn how to ride his bike without training wheels. So, Aaron went out one night and practiced with him and pretty much ever since the kid doesn't use training. Now, I just need to get pictures of him riding around. He is getting so big!

Birthday lovin

This bday was great! Aaron, I love you. I woke up to balloons in my face, gifts and my boys jumping all over me:) I went to lunch with the bestie and her hubs. Went swimming with the family in the afternoon then at night there was a little surprise party for me at Megan's house aka (Megs, Magoo or Mugs) Don't know why all her nicknames came to mind but they did. Anyways, it was a great birthday! I only got pictures of the night activities.
