What am I supposed to do with this...

You know...

Aaron and I like to laugh at ourselves. So, here is another "list" we laugh at.

You know you're getting old when:

1. You go running and your joints hurt not your muscles.
2. Your ideal date is to drop the kids off at the grandparents house then go home and sleep.
3. You start liking classical music.
4. You start listening to mix 94.1 and like all the music.
5. You are talking to someone in your class and they find out how old you are and they say "You're 30, holy crap you're old!" Yeah, don't worry that really happened to Aaron this semester. HAHA
6. You sing along with the elevator music.
7.You no longer think of speed limits as a challenge.
8.People call at 9:00 p.m. and ask, "Did I wake you?"
9. It takes you twice as long to look half as good.
10.You have a party and the neighbors don't even realize it.
11.You're the one calling the police because those %@!.. kids next door won't turn down the stereo.

So, Aaron and I made most of these up and got a few off the internet. Man, good times! This is sooo us. It's funny and sad all at the same time.

California knows how to party

We went to California this Spring Break. It was nice to get out of town and enjoy our time as a family. I wouldn't call it relaxing. With a toddler and a baby that doesn't really happen. It was fun though. We camped at Carlsbad one night and just hung out at the beach all day. The next night we hung out with a good friends and stayed with them. They hooked us up with free San Diego Zoo tickets. That was our first time ever going there. We had so much fun there. We walked a lot and seen so many animals. Ezra was going crazy by the end of the day. I think he was overly tired which equals a crazy hyper child. We were really happy we had the chance to go. I can't wait until next time.

This is me

I just had a good laugh... at myself and thought I should share. It's getting that time a day when Aaron should be rollin up and I usually try to look half way decent when he gets home. Like maybe put on some makeup, brush my hair, get out of my pj's. You know, that kinda stuff. Not that I try to look hot or anything just so I don't look like a bum. Anyways, today at 4 I went into my bathroom and looked in the mirror for the first time today and automatically started laughing. Pretty hard actually. Ezra came in to see what was so funny. I look like a DISASTER! I am wearing my pj's which is, comfy pants and a shirt that is 5 sizes to big. My shirt is black and it has snot (from Lincoln) all over it and food from who knows when. And to be honest it kinda smells. My hair is greasy and not to mention I have like 6 inch roots. Who has $100 to spend on their hair, anyways! I have no makeup on. My face is broke out. My lips cracked earlier because they were so dry. Dude, I haven't looked this pathetic ever! So, you know what I did, I just walked away. That's right, poor Aaron is going to be frightened when he gets home. So if anyone is ever having an ugly day or just doesn't feel so hot about themselves just think of this post and it should make you feel better. I would post a picture but I think I have to much pride to do that!

Spring Mountain Ranch

For playgroup, our ward went to Spring Mountain Ranch last Wednesday. I almost bailed out when I looked outside and the wind was in full force but decided to go last min. When we got up there, it was BEAUTIFUL! I actually got a sun burn. We had an Easter egg hunt and the adults talked and the kids played. It was very relaxing. I am so glad we went. Ezra had so much fun and Lincoln just hung out with me and did really well just chillin. Thanks ladies for putting that on! Getting ready to find some Easter eggs

Today was Ezra's first soccer game and my first game that I coached. We had to wake up nice and early to be there ready to play at 8. I woke up and watched the weather report and thought to myself oh crap, this is going to be fun. It was in its 50's and super windy... sigh. When we got there it was freezing. The wind was chillin my bones. Ezra immediately started whining which shortly turned into to crying with snot running all down his face. Once we figured out what field we were on we started to get things ready. I look around and most of the kids are crying because they can't feel their body. If you haven't got the point, it was ridiculously windy! Once the game finally started there were only a couple kids on our team that wanted to play. It was slightly chaotic but I had a ton of fun and laughed a lot. The other team was really good. Let's just say they probably started playing once they came out of the womb. I think they scored a goal every time they got the ball... which was every play. YEAH. Oh and don't worry Ezra maybe played for 1 whole min and by played I mean he stood on the field crying. I definitely know what we need to work on during practices now. I think our team did awesome! I am so proud of them for stickin it out. One thing, I think it can only get better because we played the best team, had the earliest time and the worst weather. GOOO Kick N Little's!
