Not much

Not much is happening with me and boys these days. Lots of naps, swimming at the beach or pool, minecraft, insanity, playing with the dog, house training the dog and playing with friends.

Every year Grenada holds Regatta races. It was fun to see all the sail boats out in the water. Our landlord was out racing his boat. He came in 7th

A week or so ago there was this cool looking pirate ship in the bay by our house. The boys were obsessed with it!

 And we are missing Aaron. He has been spending his time studying for mid terms next week. Love you babe!

mommy stuff

I'm going to start this off on a positive note. At times I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job at this parenting thing. I tell my kids I love them multiple times a day. I hug and kiss them everyday. I take them to fun places even when dad can't come with and I know it will be crazy for me to do it alone all because I know they would have fun. I don't mind when they get muddy, dirty and smelly as long as they are having fun. I let them make messes. I encourage them to use their imagination.I discipline them. I make them do chores. I try to teach as we go about our day. I read them Harry Potter. Come on it doesn't get much better than that. 

So, with that said, sometimes being a mom is hard. Sometimes I make mistakes. I yell. I'm tired. I'm impatient. I get frustrated easily. I might tune my kids out a little more than I should. Some days we watch t.v. and play on electronics for most the day. I have good days and bad days.

Lately, I feel like I've had more bad days than good. Ezra, I feel sorry for you. You are my first. I have no freaking clue what I'm doing and you are the lucky one I get to learn with. Sorry:)

4 months

I love this little dude!
At 4 months he is:
rolling from his back to tummy
still nursing
hasn't had real food yet
is in 3 month clothes and a few 3 to 6 month clothes
loves to smile
really chill. I drag him around everywhere and he is a good sport
 but he hates his car seat
likes the pool and ocean
wears size 2 diapers
wakes up about once a night around 5
napping better
is laughing
likes to hear his voice
loves to be held

New favorite

The kids and I went to a new beach on Sat. called La Sagesse. We've been there once before and I think it's our new favorite. It's beautiful. It's in a big bay and has fun waves and is shallow pretty far out. It's perfect for the boys. Yesterday there was a big group of us that went and we all had such a good time. Ezra and Lincoln boogie boarded for hours and played hard. I even boogie boarded for a while and played. Hank mainly hung out in the shade. We missed Aaron being there but that's how it goes. Study study study! Aaron is pretty awesome. There is no way I could be that disciplined. Oh and I'm so bugged, I didn't realize until we got home that our camera lens is dirty so a lot of these pictures are blurry.

Catamaran Adventure

Last Saturday I was brave and took the 3 boys by myself on a catamaran tour to see dolphins and whales. Aaron wanted to go but decided it was better to use that time studying. We only saw dolphins but it was still fun. I had to stay in the back most the time because Hank wasn't loving being in the wrap and the only place I felt comfortable taking him out was in the back.The front was very open and me being crazy, kept thinking of all the horrible things that could happen if Hank wasn't attached to me. I'm going to blame it on post pardum hormones? Ezra was running all over the boat like he owned it. At one point one of the workers told Ezra and his friend Grant to find a place a stay there. Lincoln liked it but at one point got really sea sick and up chucked and started a barf frenzy. One kid saw Lincoln barf then he did then another kid did. Oh man. Barf everywhere!
 In the front of the boat there were these nets you could sit or lay on and see under you. That was Ezra's favorite spot. It was quite rough and at on point the boat hit a wave just right and it soaked Ezra and his friends on the net. It actually lifted them up alittle because it came from under neath. I almost had a heart attack. I was like, well there goes Ezra getting swept out to sea. Of course he thought it was the coolest thing ever. Oh to be a mom to boys:) Anyways, it was fun. I'm glad we were able to go.

Nobody likes a negative Nancy but that's not going to stop me. Grenada is killing me!!!!!!!!! We have been without gas for over a week. I cant use the oven or stove and the kids cry every time they get in the shower because it's freezing. Then I got my second ticket today. Yeah, Ive only been here for about 2 months and already have 2 tickets. I'm annoyed. On the bright side, I'm not making another crock pot meal so tonight we will go out to eat and I will enjoy not doing dinner dishes:)
