Idaho

Well we just got back from a little vacation in Idaho. We had a lot of fun but I am glad to be home. Lets just say there was a 30 to 40 degree weather difference. Yah, one day the high there was like 40 degrees. Not my kinda weather. I love Vegas weather especially in April. So I was sad to be missing the 80 degrees here.

We stayed with our good friends Jessie and Emma. They were nice enough to let us stay with them for about a whole week. We didn't do a whole lot. That was our plan, though. We just wanted to relax. To have a break from the fast Vegas pase. Ezra and Lilly got along pretty well. As good as you can ask for 2 a year old.

This first pic is Ezra and Lilly reading together. It was so cute. The second pic is at Jessie and Emma's house and yes, it's snowing. This third one is at the Rexburg temple. That temple is beautiful! We had a good time and we were glad to spend some time with our friends but like I said it always feels good to be home.

Shout Out!!

I would like to give a shout out to my friend Melissa. She just went through the temple about a week and a half ago. I am so proud of her!! I love her so stinkin much. Everyone needs a friend like Melissa. A couple things I love about her: She might be one of the funniest people I know, always makes you laugh, absolutely beautiful, awesome sense of style, good listener, crazy, doesn't care what people think of her, brings the best out of people, contagious to be around.

Cali Trip

We finally took a vacation! It's a miracle. Aaron and I have been so busy and life just flies by too fast. We realized at the end of 2007 that we really didn't take any vacations that year. So we decided this year we will take a few vacations before the second child comes into our lives. We went to Castaic Lake and stayed with Aaron's sister for 2 days. Then went down to Carlsbad and camped for a night. Which we LOVED! We were right on the beach and it was absolutely beautiful. Then we thought Ezra would love Sea World so why not go. Only to find out he really would have cared less and would have rather gone to the beach. All in all we had a great time. Aaron and I got some sun so that's always nice and Ezra fell in love with the beach. What more can you ask for. Here are a few pictures of the trip.....

Aaron and I loved the long hair but I was ready for a change. Aaron wasn't quite ready but I changed his mind. What do you think? I think I am ready to grow it out agian.

Ouch!

Aaron and I went to Utah this weekend to see UNLV and BYU play. Of course, we were cheering for UNLV. If anybody watched that game, you know how pathetic it was. We got our trash kicked. We did have fun though. Aaron was yelling and getting crazy as usual. All I have to say is BYU fans are crazy. It was a sold out game. I have never been in an arena that was so dang loud! It was fun. I wish UNLV fans were like that. Aaron looks a little crazy in this picture because he doesn't know how to open his eyes so this was like the 3rd picture we took. I love him!

Eight things about me

I've been tagged, so here it is....

1. Hawaii is my favorite place on earth. I only lived there for a half a year but i am slightly obsessed. I've been to a few different tropical places and I think no place compares to Hawaii. I lived in the best spot in the world. I lived on the North Shore right on Kam Highway. Not even a mile away from Pipeline. And about a mile away from Wiamia. A surfers dream. I can go on and on. Oh good times.

2. I can burp louder than probably any man you know. And NO i am not ashamed. I actually think it's pretty halarious. That is actually one reason I knew Aaron was the one. It didn't bother him when I burped. I have toned it done a knotch when we got married.

3. When I was little I didn't have the "dreams" most little girls had. I wanted to be a daredevil or a stunt woman. To be honest I still want to. I love thrills. Anything to get my blood pumpin. I used to be obessed with bungie jumping. It was a sad day when it closed down. I have always wanted to go base jumping. I am not sure why but that sound amazing. One day.I have a pretty cool picture of me doing a back flip off Wiamia cliff jump. I totally would have posted it but it's in storage.

4. I love love love going to the lake. I am happy to say Ezra is starting to like it as much as me. I spent many days there growing up. We were a lake family all the way. Aaron and I would one day like to own a boat. But for now we will use my parents. Tubing is by far my favorite thing to do.

5. I have no shame at all. Sometimes I say things out loud that people probably don't wantto hear. Which also means, I make situations awkward sometimes. I think that is one of the many reason Megan and Melissa are my best friends. They appreciate my shamless self.

6. This one is weird! I hate wearing clothes. It's true! Really, who likes to wear clothes? Not me. If you every come over to my house unexpected it will take me a while to answer the door because I have to put clothes on.

7. This one is for Aaron. Before he shaves his beard off he has to be creative and shave something weird.

8. I love my family! More than anything. I think I have the best family in the world. Aaron and I talk about moving out of Vegas all the time. I am pretty sure I will have a anxiety attack when that time comes.

Day of fun

Saturday we were trying to figure out something to do that didn't cost money. So we decided to take Ezra to the strip since he has never been down there and we never go there. It was actually a lot of fun. This is us at the MGM where you can see the lions. The dang lions were sleeping but we could see them and Ezra thought it was pretty cool. Then we went to the rainforest cafe. I think Ezra really like it.

And we ended with a water show. It kinda freaked Ezra out because he is not a fan of loud noise. So who would have thought that the strip can actually be pretty fun as a family.
