Exhausted

My day went a little something like this... (warning this maybe be a little TMI for some of you)

-wake up and get ready for the day
-ezra and aaron went to school
-put a batch of laundry in
-lincoln and I went grocery shopping
-I got some of the worst cramps of my life in walmart and had to find the furniture section so i could sit down.
-hurry and check out so I can get home and take some pills before I die of pain (a little dramatic, I know)
-get home, put the groceries away and medicate myself
-put dinner in the crock pot (the crock pot is my best friend, sad but true)
-put another batch of laundry in
-go get Ezra from school
-put Lincs down for a nap
-make lunch
-eat and read while curled up in a ball
-start cleaning the house
-decided I needed to clean the fridge because it's nasty
-got about half way through with that then decided that was a bad idea. to much work
-lincs wakes up
-make him lunch
-play with the kids
-put another batch of laundry in
-fold clothes and put away
-go to the post office
-get home put on a movie to distract the kids so I can make cookies
-that didn't work
-now they are fighting for who gets to stand on the chair and help
-more fighting
-more baking
-a little more fighting
-cookies done yum
-more cleaning
-Aaron gets home
-more cleaning
-feed missionaries
-run 3.5 miles
-bathe kids
-put lincs to bed
-clean up dinner
-put ezra to bed
-take a shower
-and here I am on the computer completely exhausted. A day in the life of a stay at home mom :) exhausting but wonderful :)

Good read

I knew very little about World War I before reading this book. I can now say I know why it started and why America became involved. I actually learned a ton in this book! This is a LDS author. If you read Children of the Promise, it's a lot like that just about World War I. I would definitely recommend this book :)

Another bites the dust

I just got done reading Bridget Jone's Dairy. Hilarious! I laughed the whole time. I will warn you though, she drops the F bomb quite a bit. Definitely rated R for language. That was the only thing I didn't like about it. Actually toward the end of the book she says "Oh God" a lot and that to me was worse than the F bombs. So, it's hilarious but I really don't think I would recommend this one unless language isn't an issue for you.

Goals

One of my goals for the new year is to read more. I just got done reading The Alchemist for the first time. I feel like I was the last person on Earth to read this book. It was fantastic! Loved it! If by some chance there is someone out there who hasn't read this book yet, I highly recommend it. Also, I would love some recommendations. My sister just gave me Bridget Jone's Diary. She said she laughed out loud a lot. So I just started that. Let me know what your favorite books are so I can read them too.

I struggle

Okay, so I completely forgot to blog about this when it happened and it is most definitely one of my favorite things of 2009. My best friend Megan got married!!! I think the reason I forgot was because I didn't have any pictures so Megan I took these off facebook... is that legal :)Great friend or greatest friend? Anyways, I LOVE Megan. I have loved this girl since the 8th grade. She is seriously the best friend a girl can have. Love you Megs!

Favortie things of 2009

Being an official soccer mom
Visiting the San Diego Zoo for the 1st time

Running in the Mud Run and celebrating 5 years of marriage
Ezra turning 4
Lincoln turning 1
Hiking Sunrise Mountain
And having family time

2009 wasn't horrible. Aaron and I feel like 2008 was by far the best year we've ever had so to follow that year is kinda hard. One thing for sure, is we are now on track. Aaron is closer to medical school, thanks to taking 54 credits this last year. In 2009 we were all healthy and I am grateful for that. 2009 brought us change and challenges that I thought we would never have to go through but I am grateful, for I feel Aaron and I are closer for it and our family is stronger. My testimony of the gospel has grown a tremendous amount and I feel like I am closer to my Heavenly Father. Thank you 2009 for making me stronger. I welcome 2010. This year I see Aaron graduating and me going back to school. Aw... this year is going to be good :)
